Bataille: Winner of Meggendorfer Prize

batailleGraphic artist, illustrator and paper engineer Marion Bataille created the ABC3D book — a pop-up alphabet that evolves as you flip through each letter. Bataille won the Meggendorfer pop-up prize in 2010 for ABC3D. Bataille said that technically the most difficult letter to produce was the "Z." And the easiest — the "A," according to an interview with the French website livresanimes.com.
